Morocco will switch to daylight saving time (DST) on Sunday, 28th April, 2013 reported the Minister of Public Service, Abdeladim El Guerrouj. The transition will occur at 2 a.m. at what time the clocks will be moved one hour forward to 3 a.m.
As also occurred last year as well as this year that the Ramadan month is during summer. To make the fast end earlier every day the clocks will be temporarily switched to standard time for the length of the Ramadan. The schedule for the Ramadan time switch is as follows. The clocks will fall back to standard time at the beginning of Ramadan on Tuesday, 9th July, 2013 at 3 a.m. At that moment the clocks will be turned one hour backward.
The Ramadan ends on Wednesday, 7th August, 2013, and the clocks will be switched to daylight saving time on Thursday, 8th August, 2013 at 2 a.m. when the clocks will be turned forward by an hour.
The daylight saving time will finally end on Sunday, 29th September, 2013 at 3 a.m. when the clocks will be turned an hour backward.
