The government of Libya has announced that the clocks will be moved an hour backwards at 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, 10 November.
So far Libya has been following time zone of UTC+2, however from 10th November onwards the country is following time zone of UTC+1. Then Libya is in the same time zone as Paris, Naples and Stockholm. Though, the countries following Central European Time fell back to standard time on 28th October this year.
Most of the western countries in northern hemisphere use daylight saving time during summer months, where as in Africa only Morocco and Namibia are implementing it.
In Europe the change to summer time is on the last Sunday in March and return to standard time on the last Sunday in October. Libya has planned to have a different schedule. The country will advance its clocks at 01:00 a.m. on the last Friday in March and fall back at 2:00 a.m. on the last Friday in October.
