Morocco's DST change for Ramadan 2 days earlier

The government of Morocco has decided to switch to standard time two days earlier before the Ramadan than according to the original plan from the spring. The updated time change will occur on Sunday, 7th July 2013 at 3:00 a.m. The clocks will be turned backward by an hour.

According to the earlier plan the time switch was supposed to happen on the same day when the Ramadan starts and end on the following day when the Ramadan ends.

Standard time will be switched to daylight saving time two days after the Ramadan ends on Saturday, 10th August, 2013 at 2:00 a.m. The clocks will be moved forward by an hour.
